Sarah McNeil lives and works in a small one-room studio overlooking a park and an old cathedral in Wellington, New Zealand. She completed a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts from Monash University in 2007, and has been working full-time as an artist and illustrator ever since, travelling and exhibiting her delicate drawings and painting around the world.

Sarah's work incorporates people, animals, and plants, drawn using pastel coloured gouache, water colours and fine pencil lines, sometimes so light they fade into nothing. The work is not always so bold that it would draw attention from the other side of a room, like herself, her work is quiet, drawings that must be looked at up close to be appreciated.
